Bocox™ Botulinum type A for Erectile Dysfunction

Bocox™ is the treatment of male erectile dysfunction with Botulinum toxin type A. (abbreviated to BoNT-A). This procedure involved using the same method as Botox® to relax muscles. It may sound counterintuitive to use a muscle relaxing treatment in such a place but the treatment works to increase blood flow where it is needed most.

Who has a Bocox™ shot?

Most patients may have tried other treatments with little or no success. Viagra (Sildenafil) may have started to show lesser effect. BoNT-A injections address erectile dysfunction, especially of the vasculogenic type.

What happens at a Bocox-Shot appointment?

A full clinical assessment is taken and you will have a medical form to fill in. Either Bocox or BoPriapus Shot will be decided upon according to the assessment. With BoPriapus, your blood is taken and spun to prepare the PRP injections. Numbing cream is applied and the combined Neurotoxin & PRP is expertly injected in specific locations. The procedure itself will take approximately 30 mins.

What is the success rate of the Bocox™ shot?

Results will vary depending on factors determined during your consultation and clinical assessment, and the exact dysfunction we are looking to treat and the dose of the BoNT-A toxin used.

Who performs the Bocox™ shot?

Dr. Nadia Yousri, an expert in Aesthetic Gynaecology and Sexual Health Consultant, FRCOG, MRCOG, PhD & MSc. Dr Nadia is an authorised provider to Bocox and BoPriapus and P-Shots in the UK, and has performed over 2500 procedures alone both in the capacity of being the consultant to other well known London clinics and at her clinic on Harley street, Marylebone, London. Dr. Nadia is highly committed to offering excellent medical services to her male patients, all treated with utmost care, ethics and privacy.

With Bocox-Shot, the possible side effects may be some slight swelling or bruising at the site of injection that disappear in a few days. Allergic reaction to the protein component of the Neurotoxin is a rare possibility.

BoPriapus Shot is penile injection of a combination of PRP (The P-Shot) & BoNT-A into the male organ for ED management.

As mentioned above, this depends on various factors, for example, the causation of the dysfunction you are suffering from and its duration. It also depends on the BoNT-A dose injected and the time taken to improve the health of the tissues. It could take up to 6 months to notice a real physiological change. However, most patients report this to be sooner, within 3 months after starting the sessions.

Depending on the dose of BoNT-A used, the good effect can last 3-6 months. After that a repeat injection is required
