Vampire Facial London (PRP Skin Rejuvenation)

Skin loses collagen from the mid-twenties onward. Sun exposure, hormonal change and ageing each
leave their own tells, and for many patients this results in a duller tone, finer lines around the eyes
and mouth, visible pores and texture that no longer bounces back. Dr Nadia treats this with
your own biology rather than a synthetic filler. The Vampire Facial uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
drawn from your own blood, applied to encourage your skin to renew its own collagen.

What Is a Vampire Facial?

The Vampire Facial is a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for the face, neck and hands. Dr Nadia
takes a small sample of your blood and spins it in a centrifuge. That separates the platelets and
concentrates them in the plasma, producing a golden fluid rich in growth factors.

Those growth factors are natural biological messengers. Platelet-derived growth factor, transforming
growth factor-beta and vascular endothelial growth factor are understood to signal the formation of
new blood vessels, recruit repair cells and support collagen production. The treatment adds no
volume from outside the body. Any change comes from your body’s own tissue response, which is why results
differ between patients.

The preparation is the same process Dr Nadia uses for PRP in intimate health and hair restoration,
only the target and the technique are changed. You can read more about the science and benefits of PRP, here.

Why Patients Come For a Vampire Facial

These are the concerns Dr Nadia assesses this treatment against at consultation. She will tell you
whether it is likely to help in your particula case. It should be said that the evidence for PRP in the skin is still developing, and that results will vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

  • Dull, tired skin tone
  • Fine lines around the eyes and mouth
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Enlarged-looking pores
  • Acne scarring and post-inflammatory marks
  • Crepey skin under the eyes and on the neck
  • Early laxity, where the skin has lost its spring but has not yet sagged

What a Vampire Facial will Not Do

PRP targets skin quality. It does not replace lost facial volume and it does not lift tissue that
has already dropped. Dermal filler addresses volume. Thread lifting addresses mechanical lift.
Dr Nadia will tell you at consultation if one of those suits your concern better, including when
that means advising against this treatment.

Dr Nadia currently delivers PRP for intimate health, hair restoration and in the non surgical breast lift (the Vampire Breast Lift), as well as the Vampire Facial for the face. She is an authorised provider and has completed training

Centrifuge speed, spin time and the resulting platelet concentration all vary between operators and between systems, and they affect what is actually being injected. Those are clinical decisions, not machine defaults.

Her consultation covers your skin assessment, your medical history, what the treatment can
realistically achieve for your concern, and what it cannot.

الأسئلة الشائعة (FAQs)

It is a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for the skin. A small sample of your blood is spun in a
centrifuge to concentrate the platelets, and the resulting plasma is delivered into the skin, where
the aim is to prompt your own collagen response. The name comes from the use of your own blood.

Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment and left to take effect. Most patients describe
the sensation as scratchy rather than painful. The blood draw feels like a routine blood test.

Expect redness for 24 to 48 hours and no makeup for the first 24 hours. Most patients
go back to normal activity the same day.

Improvements in tone and texture typically hold for 12 to 24 months after a full course, and many patients return for a maintenance session every 6 to 12 months. Ageing continues regardless, and skin changes again over time.

They are not competing treatments. Microneedling is a delivery route as well as a treatment in its
own right: the needles create a controlled injury that triggers repair. Where PRP is added, your own
plasma goes in through the same channels. Dr Nadia will explain at consultation what each part
contributes in your case.

The plasma comes from your own blood, which removes the risk of reacting to a foreign filler. Other
risks remain. Bruising, prolonged redness and swelling are the common ones. You can react to the
topical anaesthetic or antiseptic. The serious risk is infection, including blood-borne infection,
where blood is mishandled or equipment is not properly sterilised.

Yes. PRP is frequently combined with other treatments in a single plan, and Dr Nadia also offers PRP
for hair restoration and for intimate health. She will plan the order and timing of your treatments
at consultation.
